A Story of Recovery & Restoration

At this year’s Family Healing & Reunification Day, we witnessed a beautiful moment of growth.

Last year, a single dad—just 2 months into recovery—brought his teen son to the event. His son, Wesley, struggled socially, and they stayed only a few hours.

Fast forward to this year: Dad now has over 15 months of sobriety, has graduated from outpatient treatment, and the family is living at Open House Ministries. When Wesley arrived at the Farm, he confidently walked right to the barn to enjoy the animals, arts, and crafts.

Throughout the day, Wesley laughed, played, and even joined other youth in a parachute game—his face lighting up in joy. It was a powerful moment for his father and our team to witness.
